Lisa K Cohen was a dance and drama teacher since she was 14 years old. Dance-On-Wheels - Creative Arts for Kids provided arts education classes to over 43 schools throughout the LA area. One day someone asked her to dance at their child’s party.....putting together her degree in theatre & years of performing experience ...Creative Parties For Kids started providing theatrical, creative “edutainment” style kids parties & events.
The company has gone though many births and re-births and prides itself not only on lovely costuming and professional entertainers but their focus on creative inter-active play. Each week Lisa auditions and trains new talent and explains that the magic of the imagination and the child’s desire to pretend and play is the most important identifying factor of this company and what sets them apart.
Not only does Creative Parties For Kids provide character entertainment for birthday parties and school functions, but has expanded into corporate and marketing events for shopping malls, company holiday events, and community celebrations. “If you can dream it.....we can do it”, is the company motto. This happens often when a client calls and asks for a custom character that none of the other event companies offer. Such themes as Minecraft & Fortnite that are part of popular culture are some of the recent additions to the offerings available from Creative Parties For Kids .
Recently, the company has expanded into creating what the director refers to as “Pinterest Parties”....these are parties where the client can send them a photo of how they want their party or event to look and Creative Parties For Kids creates the decor, entertainment, catering to the desired theme and look. Normally, parties like these are super-expensive, but because they are offering an affordable package, more people have been able to enjoy a truly elegant experience and a truly amazing price. “Pinterest” Party Packages are an awesome new addition to Creative Parties For Kids available packages. Recent themes have been, “Mystery Party”, “Polynesian Party”, “Masha & The Bear”, “Elegant Elmo” and many more.
