We enjoyed catering for SAU board of trustees again. It was very kind of Ken Defoor to allow the University to use his gorgeous garden paradise area for the meal; that space is a botanical delight 🌹🪻🌸🌺🌷🌻🌼

Dessert was honey walnut baklava and pistachio Nutella pastries.

At Romaine On the Go Catering, we will try about anything new. Our clients requested lobster mac & cheese entrée with salad course and dessert. We did entrée dish all in a single skillet with recipe from Food and Wine Magazine No boiling required! Missed salad and dessert photos but Mac and cheese was the star anyway. Branam.

We catered for a super sweet family over the weekend. What was originally “just“ a Mexican dinner with a Tres leches cake turned into a gender reveal celebration. I must say I have never colored a tres leches cake but it was fun The cake itself I made baby boy blue. But for the traditional whipped cream topping, we did both blue and pink cream with blue and pink fruit to contain the surprise a little longer.

Shrimp tostadas, beef empanadas, bean, queso and pico dips, guacamole, chicken fajitas, and the most amazing “street corn” salad 🥗
