Hello everyone 👋
First off, a huge thank you to everyone who came out to the last Rare Swap! We had people traveling in from all over to set up, sell, trade, and visit as guests. Based on the unanimous vendor surveys, we estimate around 750–1,000 people came through throughout the day. There were so many trades happening that none of us could even keep up—so if you’re planning to come next time, I highly recommend grabbing a table or spot (it’s only $10).
What’s New & Coming Up
• ⚔️ Medieval Fighting – trained professionals in real armor will battle it out, and anyone interested is welcome to join their community.
• 🎲 Tabletop Games – along with D&D and Warhammer, we’re adding chess, checkers, and other quick-play tabletop experiences.
• 🃏 Magic: The Gathering Tournament – hosted by a local trading card store who will also be set up as a vendor.
• 🎮 Free Play Gaming Areas – Pokémon battles, retro & modern video game consoles, plus a history of gaming exhibit where people can check out and play classic systems.
• 🍴 Food Trucks – we’re looking for more variety! If you know one, send them to our website to fill out the food truck form.
• 🛍 Vendors – if you want to set up, complete the vendor application on our website. Once confirmed, we’ll add you into the community group chat.
• 🎨 Face Painting & 👗 Cosplay Competition – fun for all ages!
• 🙌 Volunteers & Sponsors – want to run an activity, promote your business, or sponsor part of the event? Reach out and let’s make it happen.
