What makes Select Players special is that it doesn’t have to be serious all the time. Yes, athletes come here to train and improve but it’s also a place to relieve stress, hang out with friends, laugh until your stomach hurts, and make core memories you’ll talk about for years.

Sometimes the best therapy is just showing up, being active, and having fun with good people. 🥎

God is so good. He knows how much I love genuine connections and I got to have such a great conversation with the owner of DAAM BEEF LLC. Business isn’t just about money or hoping to have a fully booked schedule. Getting to know other business owners and their story is really what has my heart. This man stocked me up with their beef sticks and their new summer sausage to bring to my family. 🥹 My kids and I are already obsessed with their products!

We might be able to get their product at Select Players because us athletes need our good, clean, high quality, and locally grown protein!

This family owned company is based in Jentura, OR and is getting recognition all across the states! (Just look at their followers on FB and IG👀)

We want to express our gratitude to Ontario Recreation District for being willing to try new things. We know how hard it can be to change gears, and we fully support when community supports community, which is exactly what they did.

They included our local community college and our local high school team, and I took my son to the evaluation. I was blown away by the amount of respect both Treasure Valley CC - Athletics Department and the Ontario High School Baseball boys showed toward the youth. The encouragement they gave each young athlete was truly admirable.

Yes, the evaluation process was longer than we expected, but I genuinely loved every single moment of watching my son experience it all. There were emotions of excitement, nervousness, inspiration, and so much more. I was there through every moment to see and support all of those emotions. That’s what being a parent is all about. Navigating through the experience alongside your child.

So if you walked away with negative emotions about the process, maybe take a moment to think about what you did gain from it. Our kids are only young for such a short amount of time. Even during difficult moments, there is always love to be found.

The moments I had with my son last night are moments I’ll never get back, and I’m so grateful I got to experience that time with him. 💚⚾️
