This is the most up to date poker standings for the Wooden Nickel II from 3/2/2022-5/5/2026. We had so many players. So many fun times. We had people join us locally, and some from far away. We developed new friendships and we leaned on each other when we lost one of our members. We celebrated birthdays, Halloween, and Christmas. We had special events, and even the ever chaotic Omaha October. You were all amazing! I thank you for being a part of my life almost every Wednesday, plenty of Thursdays, a few Saturdays, lots of Tuesdays, and even a couple Monday nights. I thank you for all of the laughs, cheers, boos and even some angry bad beat moments, but most importantly thank you for giving me your time. I hope you valued it as much as I did. Until the next time we sit around the poker table together..."good luck all in".

We had our 10 week championship and it was very fitting that the GOAT, Alan C. won it all! This win makes him a four time champion! Alan C. always and I mean ALWAYS is in it. Every game Alan plays great cards, but when it comes to the tournament, there are none better. Thanks for always playing a great game Alan!

THIS COMING TUESDAY (5TH) WILL BE OUR LAST TOURNAMENT FOR THE SUMMER!!! ANYONE THAT HAS EVER PLAYED WITH US, EVEN FOR ONE GAME SINCE 2022, CAN BE IN THIS TOURNAMENT! Alright Wednesday night poker family! We are wrapping up this 10 weeks and then we will be done for the summer! We are playing this Wednesday (April 29th) at our normal times (6:00 and 9:00) and then we have our 10 week tournament next Tuesday (May 5th) and then that will be it! Great news though.....EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER PLAYED WITH US SINCE WE STARTED BACK IN 2022 CAN GET IN THIS TOURNAMENT!!! I don't care if it was one game back in 2023, or you play every week, I appreciate all of you and I want you to be a part of this tournament. Come get the last bracelet before the break!! The tournament starts at 7:00 pm sharp. You can't be late for this one so get there early!!

After week 6 of 10 (March 25, 2026) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw a great game by Val J., just come up a little short when Ryan B. mounted an amazing comeback to bring home the 1st game trophy and provide a great picture! In the second game, I figured I should probably get locked into the tournament so that I can play in it since I will already be there. Mike Bu. is such a tough competitor, so I was pretty pumped to bring the trophy home against him. We would like to honor Val J. and Mike Bu. with the second place ribbons. Thank you all for coming out as we couldn't do it without you!

As these are weekly games, you can join any week, but you don't have to play every week. At the end of the 10 weeks we will have an invitational of the players that have the title of "qualified" below. You automatically qualify for the invitational if you win a game. If you win a bounty only then you become an alternate and can fill an empty spot if there is one not being filled by a qualified person.

After week 5 of 10 (March 18th, 2026) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw a couple REALLY good heads up at the end of both games. In the second game we saw Big Sug bring home another win!! Nice work Sug. He even went heads up with Ryan B. which is a tough one to go heads up against. In the first game, Jeremy K. got himself locked in with a heads up win against Mike Bu., which is a former champion and hard one to take down. I thought Cheryl R. was going to bring home the trophy, but Kyle A. had other plans. In the first game we saw Jason M. put up a fantastic fight against Alan C. - Jason doesn't get to play with us a ton, but we always appreciate it when him and Chelsea do, so it was great to see him bring home a 2nd place finish.
