This was a bittersweet Snapchat memory that popped up - but I took it as a sign to make a little announcement.
I started Golden Pineapple Events in July 2019 officially … then Covid hit and as you can imagine the first few years were not as “fruitful” (see what I did there 🍍) as I imagined. I stayed on course, and I had the opportunity to be a part of many people’s celebrations though …

To be exact
- 27 weddings
- 5 birthday parties
- 2 retirement parties
- 3 baby showers
- 1 Nashville Bachelorette
- 2 Bridal Showers

I brought in a total of 5 amazing individuals who supported as staff at some point. I had the honor of supporting both friends and strangers and I loved every second of it.

Meanwhile I also started a career in HR, I had another baby, my middle child started school and sports, and my oldest is in high school. With these weekend events, long typically 12+ hour days - I tend to miss out on things with my kids and family. I’ve come to realize, at this point of my life - that this is not the time for a side business. My true passion are these years with my kids and family. I can always come back to event coordination, I have my whole life - but their childhood will be over in a blink of an eye.

Thank you to all the amazing people who trusted me with their events. Thank you to the amazing people who helped staff and support these events. Thank you to friends and family for your support and a huge thank you to my amazing husband and my kids who supported my little dream 🩷

Golden Pineapple Events is excited to announce that we are opening our books again!!!

I took off some exciting time to spend with my baby girl, and to get back into the groove of things with an infant - but we’re so excited to start helping with events again!

There will be a change to services, moving forward Golden Pineapple will only be doing Day of Services and Coordination! (This is our speciality)

I’m so excited to announce the newest member of the team here at Golden Pineapple Events! My Assistant Coordinator, Marie Shipley!

I’ve mostly been a team of 1 here, other than bringing on extra hands when needed - but it’s time to change things up as we continue to grow.

Marie is a personal good friend, and we work together at our FT jobs too! She is dependable, thoughtful, pays attention to detail and is always willing to put in the work! I’m so grateful to work alongside her for future amazing events!! Welcome Marie!

I feel so incredibly blessed, looking at my scheduled weddings, bridal showers, birthdays, and even grazing table events in the next year! I am scheduled out with events all the way through next spring and I can’t help but to feel humbled and grateful - with that being said, at this time my books are closed through April 2023! While business is good, I hate having to tell people I can’t do their events - so please know that this comes with a lot of thought and consideration. I have to also have a balance with my family life, and my full time job - as Golden Pineapple is my, “passion job.”

What is an event coordinator doing making charcuterie boards?

I think my favorite part of being an event planner, is watching people come together and celebrate, whether big or small - doesn’t matter if it’s a group, a couple or an individual. Covid has really taken that away and in the midst of that that - I think we need to take a creative approach to things sometimes.

I also think everyone still deserves a special Valentine’s Day event - whether that’s home with your loved one or friend or even on your own! ♥️

I have just a few more of these boxes up for reservation! $45 - I made the example box here to mimic the box that will be provided with bubbly and straws! For awareness some products may differ slightly due to store availability but will plan to match as close as possible if not exact!

This comes with a beautiful box of 3 meats and 4 cheeses, assorted crackers, fruit, nuts and of course some sweet things and a mini jar of Mikes Hot Honey!

In addition, you can choose from either 2 mini bottles of bubbley, (a white or rose!)

Boxes will be $45 (ID may be requested at pickup to verify age)

All orders must be in by February 1st! I will post update when all slots have been filled.

Due to Valentines Day being on a Monday - I’ll have a meet up time on Sunday February 13th at 7pm! I can also make boxes fresh for a Friday pickup if requested.

Pickup location will be one location for all and discussed at time of order.

I will be offering special event, holiday, date, individual boxes in addition to event set ups!

Pricing will be discussed per order, please reach out for a quote if interested.

To kick off my charcuterie boards, I am making a limited amount (only 10) Valentines Date Charcuterie Date boxes for 2!! Perfect for those romantic home dates if you are looking to avoid the crowds and people this year!

You can never underestimate a good team, and I had the best on this day!!
Thank you Ninety Six Oak for capturing us - and somehow making us look much better than we did! We were exhausted, hot and a mess at this point of the day but it was such a beautiful and fun wedding we were lucky to be a part of!

In case you’re following me and you didn’t know, Event Coordination is my part time - During the day I am an Assistant HR manager. Last Sunday was Human Resource Professional Day and to show just a bit of our appreciation we ordered these adorable cookies for the team from Be Sweet Omaha
