The biggest congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Maslo!! 💍✨

We had the BEST day celebrating Jake & Rachel in the beautiful mountains of Boulder, Colorado! 🏔️✨

I had the absolute honor and privilege of photographing these two sweet humans on their wedding day. 💕

I’ve known Jake for 15 years—from the Bryan High School basketball court (clearly Jake played basketball… not me 😂 I cheered) to our adult professional careers, watching Jake enter the entrepreneurship world of videography (Jake did my branding video—he’s great, hire him! LOL), and now to his wedding day!

I’ve truly watched him grow up—not physically, because he’s always been a giant 😂—but into one of the hardest-working and genuinely wonderful people I know. I’m so incredibly happy he found Rachel, a true angel in human form. ❤️

And Rachel?! An absolute LEGEND when it comes to creativity and detail.

She designed all of her beautiful stationery, created an embroidered wedding art piece, made a picture-perfect stained-glass work of art, designed all of the gorgeous florals, AND literally Cricut-ed an entire “The Maslos” drink menu. And essentially EVERYTHING else for this magical wedding day!!

Ladies and gentlemen… in all my years and all the weddings I’ve witnessed, I have NEVER seen someone with this level of talent and attention to detail. These videos don’t even come close to doing her work justice. 🤯

And then there’s the fact that I’ve had the incredible privilege of photographing so many of their family’s milestones over the years—from Jake’s cousin Laurissa & Christian’s wedding, to Rachel’s brother Bryce & Jamie’s wedding, to Jake & Rachel’s anniversary photos, their engagement photos, and now their wedding day.

Being invited back again and again to photograph the people and moments that matter most to a family is truly one of the highest compliments a photographer can receive. It means more than I can put into words. ❤️

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the newlyweds for trusting me to document such an incredibly special day.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room. 🥺😭

Photographs may fade with time, but moments like these are exactly why I’m a photographer. To witness love so pure, so deeply felt, and preserve it for generations to come. This dance softened the room and warmed every heart lucky enough to witness it. ✨

You might know Jack Keenan as KETV’s beloved morning news anchor, but to Lauren, he’s simply the love of her life.

You might know Lauren Taylor as WOWT’s trusted news anchor, but to Jack, she’s the love of his life.

In 2018, Lauren moved to Omaha to join the WOWT news team. A few years later, in 2022, Jack made the move to Omaha to join KETV.

Somewhere between covering breaking news, sharing stories, and serving the Omaha community, their own story quietly began.

There’s something beautiful about two people whose lives are devoted to telling the stories of others finding a love story worth telling themselves.

I had the incredible privilege of documenting not only their proposal, but also their intimate courthouse wedding here in Omaha, surrounded by the news family that has become part of their journey.
