IMPORTANT: Voting Readiness Checklist
With the election just around the corner and recent changes in place, now is the time to finalize your plan and make sure you’re fully ready to participate.
As the Primary Election is on May 12th, we’ve put together a checklist you can use to ensure your voice is counted.
✅ Verify Your Photo ID: Nebraska requires a valid photo ID to vote. Ensure you have one of the following ready: a Nebraska driver’s license, state ID, U.S. passport, military ID, tribal ID, or a Nebraska college/university ID.
✅ Confirm Your Polling Place: Locations can change. Double-check your specific polling site before you head out https://buff.ly/2TsPphI . Remember, polls are open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
✅ Finalize Your Transportation: Do you have a ride to the polls? Whether you are driving, taking the bus, or carpooling with neighbors, having a set time and plan ensures nothing stands in your way.
✅ Review Your Ballot: Take a moment to research the candidates running for local and state offices. These are the individuals who will make decisions on our housing, economic development, and civil rights.
