OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Dear Parents, Students, and Friends of the Arts:

Through this letter, the executive leadership of the Hispanic Art Center of Omaha extends a cordial greeting and shares an important announcement regarding Professor Leah Moreno.

We hereby inform you that Professor Leah Moreno, who is a fundamental pillar of our institution, has concluded her tenure in the Artistic Direction of this cultural center.

We wish to offer a formal clarification regarding the misinterpretation by some individuals concerning our previous announcement, in which we officially welcomed Maestro Ricardo Rodríguez as our new Artistic Director.

Professor Leah Moreno will remain the highest authority of this center as the creator and owner of this cultural project for 25 years. She will be operating from a different management role than her usual one, but will continue to share with us her talent, guidance, and the coordination of all events.

We reiterate our unwavering commitment to education, art, and the Omaha community.

Estimados padres de familia, estudiantes en general y aliados del arte:

Por medio de la presente, la dirección ejecutiva del Hispanic Art Center of Omaha extiende un saludo cordial y comparte un anuncio importante respecto a la profesora Leah Moreno.

Informamos que la Profesora Leah Moreno es una parte fundamental de nuestra institución y concluyó su gestión en la Dirección artística de este centro cultural.

Queremos expresar una aclaración formal por la mala interpretación de algunas personas relacionado a nuestro pasado comunicado donde le damos la bienvenida oficial al maestro Ricardo Rodríguez como nuestro director artístico.

La profesora Leah Moreno seguirá siendo nuestra máxima autoridad de este centro por ser la creadora y dueña de este proyecto cultural por 25 años, ella estará operando su trabajo desde otra dirección distinta a su trabajo habitual pero seguirá compartiendo con nosotros su talento, su guía y la coordinación de todos los eventos.

Reiteramos nuestro compromiso inalterable con la educación, el arte y la comunidad de Omaha.
