Preface: this post is simultaneously functioning as a PSA, a teaser, and a request for logistical/gear assistance.
Now that I'm fully recovered from the fu***ng AMAZING show with ESA on Thursday, it's time to share a relatively critical piece of news: Thursday's show will most likely be the last live show for a while, but not due to budgetary constraints or burnout. As a matter of fact...
I can't tell you exactly why (not publicly, anyway), but I'm currently in the very beginning stages of an endeavor that will ideally launch in late summer 2027, and if all goes accordingly, said endeavor will be arguably the biggest thing the Omaha Industrial/EBM scene has ever witnessed - once again, I have to keep it top secret for now, but it's related to live shows, and practically all the Sinthesis budget will HAVE to be reserved for this undertaking, hence pumping the brakes on live shows.
Let me just put it to you this way: I'd rather do one big thing than several smaller things - in addition to money, gearing up for live shows is very stressful (at least for me anyway), and once again; I'd rather one big thing to stress over than several things throughout a given year.
Part of why this is top secret for now is because I want to make sure everything's in order I preparation for this endeavor, as this is going to be a very DIY thing. I will probably put out the occasional SOS requesting certain pieces of gear (still trying to figure out everything that's gonna be needed, other than the obvious), but the one thing I'm going to ask right now: do I know anyone who might have a portable/collapsible stage? That's the one thing I know for sure will be needed if possible.
Regardless, if you've gotten this far, thanks for reading and thanks for your consideration. I can't wait to share more, but all I can say is that if all goes according to plan, 2027 is gonna be fu***ng HUGE.
