It was such a fabulous time last night for Pulled BBQ Omaha at the inaugural Omaha Food Truck Faceoff! at Stinson Park, which was put on by our friends at EZ Food Trucks, who did a great job organizing this large event! We also had some of the best foodies in Omaha on the judges panel. Thank you to Dan Hoppen, AKA Restaurant Hoppen, Thee Omaha Fattie, Yum Omaha and Faturday Omaha for all of your gracious compliments and judging! These are truly some of the best true supporters of the Omaha food truck and restaurant scene.

First and foremost, we would like to extend a very sincere congratulations to the first place winner, Smash Bites, as the won with an amazing Jalapeño Popper Smash Burger. The other trucks' dishes from our friends at Alley Taco 402 and High Voltage BBQ were absolutely fabulous as deserving as well!

Where did Pulled BBQ Omaha Food Truck & Catering end up? With the high level of competition that we had, we are still happy that we finished 2nd place with our Apple Pie Pulled Pork Slider, topped with a julienne apple slaw and apple BBQ sauce, served with a side of our Apple Pie Bourbon Baked Beans! We truly gave this one our all, trying to bring you an amazing Fall-type dish that would be truly intriguing.

We had SO MANY of our fans, as well as people who have never had us before ask us to put these on our menu. We listened and will be having the Apple Pie Bourbon Baked Beans as our Fall beans choice, and will also feature our Apple Pie Pulled Pork Sammich as a special until we sell out. We knew it was gonna be a big hit after we sampled it, so we decided to make a bunch more to carry a a special at our food truck.

For those of you that don't know where we're located, we operate out of Omaha's Premier Food Truck commissary just south of 108th & Q at T&T: Trucks & Taps, Patio! You can see our schedule weekly on our own page, as we post it every Monday or Tuesday.

Again, a HUUUGE THANK YOU to all of the people who had a part in making this event happen, the amazing food trucks who made the finals with us, our valued team members who truly put in their heart and soul into this, and most importantly, YOU, our fans!
