Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake Bars

​1. The Ingredients

Layer Ingredients
Base: 2 cups crushed chocolate graham crackers or Oreo cookies, 6 tbsp melted butter.

Cheesecake: 16oz cream cheese (softened), 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/4 cup strawberry jam.

Knafeh Filling:1 cup Knafeh pastry (shredded & toasted in butter), 1/2 cup Pistachio cream/butter, 1 tbsp Tahini (optional).

Chocolate Top: 1.5 cups Milk chocolate (melted), 1/4 cup crushed pistachios, fresh strawberry slices.

Step 1: The Crust & Cheesecake

​Prep: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
​The Base: Mix the cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 8 minutes, then let cool.

​The Filling: Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, followed by sour cream and vanilla.

​The Swirl: Pour the batter over the crust. Drop small spoonfuls of strawberry jam on top and swirl with a toothpick.

​Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until the edges are set but the center slightly jiggles. Chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours (this is crucial before adding the chocolate).

​Step 2: The "Dubai" Crunchy Layer
​Toast: Sauté the shredded knafeh pastry in a pan with a little butter until golden brown and very crunchy.

​Mix: In a bowl, combine the crunchy knafeh with the pistachio cream and tahini until the pastry is fully coated.

​Step 3: Assembly
​Layering: Spread the pistachio-knafeh mixture in an even, thin layer over the chilled cheesecake
​Chocolate: Pour the melted milk chocolate over the pistachio layer. Use a spatula to smooth it out.

​Garnish: While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle heavily with crushed pistachios. Place a fresh strawberry slice on each intended bar.

​Set: Chill for another 30 minutes until the chocolate is firm.

​3. Pro-Tips for the Perfect Slice

​The Cut: To get those clean, professional edges seen in your photo, dip a sharp knife in hot water and wipe it dry between every single cut.

​The Crunch: Ensure the knafeh is deeply golden; if it's under-toasted, it will turn soggy inside the chocolate.

🦀🍤 Crab & Shrimp Stuffed Salmon 😍

Rich, buttery salmon fillets loaded with a creamy crab and shrimp stuffing—perfect for an elegant dinner at home!

📝 Ingredients

For the Salmon

4 salmon fillets

Salt & pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

Lemon wedges (for serving)

For the Stuffing

½ cup crab meat, picked over for shells

½ cup shrimp, chopped

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1 tbsp mayonnaise

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tsp fresh dill, chopped

½ tsp paprika

Salt & pepper, to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

Prepare the Salmon
Pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper. Create a slit or pocket in each fillet for the stuffing.

Make the Stuffing
In a bowl, combine crab meat, chopped shrimp, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, parsley, dill, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Stuff the Salmon
Spoon the crab-shrimp mixture into each salmon pocket, pressing gently to secure.

Bake
Place stuffed salmon in the prepared dish and drizzle lightly with olive oil. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flaky.

Serve
Plate the salmon with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Pair with roasted vegetables, rice, or a light salad.

Ingredients

4 oz. thick-cut bacon (about 4 slices), cut into 1/4" pieces

2 scallions, white and green parts separated, thinly sliced

4 oz. cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sliced almonds

2 Tbsp. mayonnaise

1 cup shredded cheddar, divided

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

4 (8-oz.) boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. hot or regular paprika

2 tsp. all-purpose flour
Directions
Step 1
Arrange racks in upper and lower thirds of oven; preheat to 400°. In a cold, large, stainless steel or cast-iron skillet, arrange bacon in a single layer. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crispy, about 10 minutes.
Step 2
Remove skillet from heat and transfer bacon to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain. Pour off all but 2 Tbsp. bacon fat.
Step 3
Reserve 2 Tbsp. cooked chopped bacon for serving. Transfer remaining bacon to a medium bowl. Add white scallion parts, cream cheese, almonds, mayonnaise, 3/4 cup cheddar, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/2 tsp. pepper and mix until combined. In another medium bowl, mix breadcrumbs, butter, and remaining 1/4 cup cheese until combined.
Step 4
Return skillet to medium heat. Pat chicken dry; season all over with garlic powder, paprika, and 2 tsp. salt. Once pan is hot, cook chicken in bacon fat, undisturbed, until bottom side is golden brown, about 5 minutes. Flip chicken and top with cream cheese mixture. Top cream cheese mixture with breadcrumb mixture.
Step 5
Bake chicken on lower oven rack for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Turn on broiler. Move skillet to upper rack. Broil, watching closely, until cheese is melted and breadcrumbs are starting to brown, 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 7
Transfer chicken to a platter. Using a dry kitchen towel or pot holder, return skillet to medium heat on the stovetop. Sprinkle with flour and whisk until combined and gravy is starting to thicken, 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 8
Return chicken to sauce in skillet or spoon sauce over chicken on platter. Top with green scallion parts and reserved 2 Tbsp. bacon.
