My floral journey started with just being a floral clerk at Bakers 18 years ago. I knew nothing about flowers and honestly had no intentions of making it a career path at all. But I had some wonderful,talented managers along the way that helped me grow my talent in a lot of ways and explore my own personal style. While my career path has led me to move on from my full time career at Bakers, I still can’t let go! I work there once a month and sometimes, just sometimes, I get to make some pretty arrangements for the cooler! 💕

Hi everyone! 👋

It’s been a while since I introduced myself, so here it goes!

I’m Kayleigh Gable, the designer and one woman show behind Orange Lotus Designs.

I have been designing for 18 years now and have managed different floral shops before I climbed the “corporate ladder.” I’ve always had my hand in designing through this time, and that is where my passion lies. I decided to do my own wedding floral business a little over 5 years ago and have created over 100’s of beautiful wedding bouquets and designs for amazing,beautiful brides. I’ve also met wonderful talented vendors along the way. Its been quite a journey and I’m thankful for that!

Just some random things about me:
⭐️my husband and I live on an acreage in Avoca NE and are proud parents of two blue heelers.
⭐️ Baking goodies is another passion of mine, but especially cheesecakes, may be another business venture so stay tuned!
⭐️ I am a HUGE lover of all food, but celery has no business being in anything.
⭐️ going to concerts is my happy place
⭐️I’m not a huge collector of things but I do have a collection of Fanciful Frogs I don’t think I’ll ever part with,
⭐️I’m a millennial so I absolutely suck at social media, so to everyone who follows me and interacts with my pages,THANK YOU!! I promise, I’m trying to learn and do better!
⭐️Christmas is my favorite holiday and love decorating for it!

⭐️ my favorite flower is snapdragons 💚

I’m very thankful and appreciative of all the support, friendships, collaborations,interactions, and creativeness I have been given with this business and excited to continue for hopefully more years to come!
