Speedy, the Evergreen Geoduck Mascot, visited with kids at the 2nd annual Monster Mansion at The Historic Lord Mansion & Coach House yesterday! Speedy and the college staff loved seeing everyone in their costumes.

For the SECOND time ever, Evergreen will welcome trick-or-treaters to the historic Lord Mansion in Olympia’s Capitol neighborhood. “Monster Mansion” will be decorated for the Halloween season and students, staff, and faculty volunteers will be onsite with the college’s mascot, Speedy the Geoduck, to hand out goodie bags!

Stop by the Monster Mansion between 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, to grab some candy and learn more about Evergreen’s undergrad, grad and professional studies programs!

The rhododendrons will be in full bloom in the next week or so. It looks like the peonies have a another week or so before their white bulbs open up too!

Thankful for the neighbors letting us know the fuse for one of the phases of electrical power serving the Lord Mansion blew. PSE was right out to fix it for us. We enjoy being part of the South Capital Neighborhood!

It's the holiday engagement season!
COVID-19 regulations are still in place but we are available by appointment for tours if you or someone you know are looking for a wedding venue once things start to reopen. We still have some weekends available for summer 2021.
