Kick off the summer with us at Binette Park for our first community BBQ of the season! We have an incredible evening planned from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. right here in Downtown Old Town.

🎖️ Special Recognition Ceremony
Following the meal, we will be hosting a beautiful ceremony dedicated to honoring all of our veterans.
7:00 P.M. – The National Anthem will be sung by Zeny Robbins.
Honoring Our Heroes: We are presenting a small gift of appreciation to each veteran. Members from each military branch will stand or wave as their team song is played.
🫡A Special Salute: Tonight, we want to especially recognize veterans who served before 1976, including our local Korean War and Vietnam War veterans.
We warmly encourage all area veterans’ organizations to come out and take part in this meaningful evening.

🪑 BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS! Grab your favorite lawn chairs or blankets so you can sit back and enjoy the music and ceremony comfortably.
🦟 Pack the bug spray! Keep the pesky Maine mosquitoes away so you can enjoy the park all evening long.
📅 Looking Ahead: Mark your calendars! The 195th Maine Army National Band will be in concert with us on Monday, July 6th at 6:30 P.M.
