Ready to get your hands dirty this spring? Join us on May 12 at 10am for a 6-Week Wheel Throwing Class with Kristen Martin!

Whether you’re brand new or looking to build on your skills, this class will guide you through centering, shaping, trimming, and glazing your own handmade pieces. With plenty of time to practice and personalized instruction from Kristen, you’ll gain confidence and create work you’ll be proud of. 6-week session runs every Tuesday at 10am from May 12th to June 16th at View Arts Center, Old Forge.

Plant lovers, this one’s for you!

For more info and to register, visit ViewArts.org/Potterytom ceramic plant stakes using simple hand‑building techniques. Add textures, patterns, words, and underglaze details to make them uniquely yours. View will fire your completed stakes, ready for pick up at a later date.

No previous pottery experience is required. Materials are included in the cost of the workshop. Kids under 12 are welcome with a responsible adult.

ATTENTION VENDORS:

It has come to our attention that someone, using the name Mabel Brian, is currently sending out emails to people asking if they would like to purchase booth rentals for our 4th of July Forge Festival of Arts and Crafts. We DO NOT use outside individuals to book rentals for any of our events; anyone claiming to be is simply trying to steal your money. These emails are a scam and fraudulent. We encourage people to disregard them entirely.

This scam was brought to our attention by someone who has never had a booth at a View event, so we currently do not know the scope of this scam or who is being targeted. All legitimate communications from View will always be from someone with a genuine viewarts email address.

If you have received one of these emails, we ask that you fill out a quick survey to help us try to figure out who is being targeted. Please find the survey here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HCJJV8B

If anyone is interested in booth rentals for any applicable event, the safest approach will always be to find the event on our website, ViewArts.org, and follow the application instructions, contact a team member directly, or contact us through our website.

View Arts Center is very excited to announce we were selected as one of the beneficiaries of the Adirondack Community Foundation's Generous Acts grants! We are going to be putting this grant to good use to bring programming to our area that will strengthen our communal bonds and bring us all together.
