Had some amazing Indian food in neighboring Parlin, at Tower of India. The chutney sauce was fresh, the naan was baked to order and the chicken was nice and tender.

🌮🔥 Aby’s Mexican restaurant in Matawan serves up some amazingly fresh tortilla chips & fresh salsa 👌 The chicken chimichanga with smoky chipotle sauce was packed with flavor, and my dinner party ended on the sweetest note—a dessert special, the Mexican rice pudding chimichanga to share. ✨ The perfect balance of savory & sweet! 🍴🇲🇽

🚨 New Coffee Spot Alert! ☕️
Have you tried the new coffee truck on Route 9, right before Deep Run Plaza ???

They’ve got nice strong espresso, a great selection of hot and iced drinks, and even gelato 🍨 (yes, please!).

Next time, I’m definitely trying their “Coffee Pop” — any iced drink sealed in a can. Such a cool concept!

If you’re looking for a Mexican spot to try in Old Bridge, do yourself a favor and check out Sofia’s Taqueria! 🌮✨ I had the chicken mole lunch special which came with a flavorful tortilla soup, and my friend went with the steak chimichanga — both dishes were so satisfying and full of flavor. Highly recommend giving them a try if you haven’t yet! 🙌🍽️

Wasabi Kaizen has just launched their soft opening this weekend. Their sashimi appetizer was fresh and delicious. The miso soup is was packed with flavor. The best part was ending with a matcha cheesecake! Sweet end to a magnificent meal!

Supporting our neighbors next door in Matawan! If you haven’t been——Main Street Donuts serves up some very fun and unique donuts. This weekend, the owner of this lovely business was harassed for displaying a pride flag in front of their store. Thanks to the Matawan police, the suspect was prosecuted.
