Usually, the person giving the toast comes to the bride and groom.

This time, the bride and groom came to their best man.

After standing beside them throughout the ceremony, Grandpa got to stay comfortably in his seat while he shared his toast. It was such a simple gesture, but one that meant so much.

Sometimes the sweetest moments come from doing things a little differently. 🤍

I saw a question the other day asking if it would be weird to only have cupcakes at a wedding reception.

Short answer: Not weird at all!

Long answer: It's your day. If you want cupcakes, then cupcakes it is. Don't like cake and would rather have cookies, pie, donuts, ice cream, or your favorite dessert? Go for it!

One of my favorite things about weddings is seeing couples make choices that actually reflect who they are instead of doing something simply because it's traditional. At the end of the day, your guests will remember celebrating with you far more than they'll remember whether you served a tiered cake.

And for the record, I've never heard anyone complain about extra dessert. 😄
