Before business I am a Oklahoma girl, wife to my husband Preston, and Mom and Bonus mom of three wild teenagers! I am a nature ju**ie, trail runner, cacao drinking, big hat wearing, heart centered business nerd! LET's TALK NUMBERS, LAUNCHING, EVENTS, AND ALL THE NERDY THINGS THAT MAKE MY HEART SING.

I am what you would called a multi-passionate business owner! Lucky for me my companies all beautifully compliment one another. Well except our Plumbing company T5 Plumbing LLC! :-)

Reach Retreat - I am celebrating five years and six retreats in November! This is my " I survived the pandemic baby" my first retreat was set to be held in May 2020! That is a story for another day. Since we have a 90% retention rate, have hosted in Sedona, Savannah, Texas, Oklahoma, and even Costa Rica baby!

Throckmorton Events - I got my entrepreneur wings when I launched this company in 2016. I am a certified luxury wedding and event planner who officially retired in November of 2023. I made the decision about a year and half ago to pivot this business to help others plan and execute successful retreats into their offer suites. I do this in 1:1 capacity and in my new mastermind program launching soon!

I am also a speaker by calling and not so much by choice. I feel when I have the opportunity to share stages both in person or virtually that something much bigger moves through me. I am wanting to share more but not sure how much I want to make this a large source of income for me. I have spoken to audiences over the last three years.

One mistake my retreat hosts make when planning their retreat!

Not validating their offer before building it.

Since I support existing and aspiring retreat hosts I have seen a little bit of everything, but this is one that stands out to me in a big way.

The shiny object of I can do this and the thought of hosting a retreat experience gets them excited so they just go at it alone and dive in headfirst into all the wrong things.

Booking the location, tossing out a number without the budget strategy, and just tossing out the retreat offer without strategically planning first.

Does your audience want a retreat?

What is your audience willing to invest in something like this?

Would they step away from life and business for a few days?
