Well… let me tell y’all about the time I painted the storefront for Threads of Love for their GRAND OPENING! 🥹🎨✨

First of all… it was HOT. 🥵
Second of all… I was battling a lovely case of laryngitis, so I sounded like a combination of a frog, a 90-year-old chain smoker, and someone who had just screamed at a football game. 😂

But did that stop me?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. 😂

I was out there rocking and rolling, painting away and watching this storefront come to life. And when I finally finished, I was SO proud of it. I packed up my supplies, hopped in the car, and headed home feeling accomplished like, “YESSSS. WE DID IT.” 🙌🏼

Enter my trusty assistant. 😜

My 13-year-old was assigned the very important job of sending the finished photos to the director because, clearly, I had already done enough for the day. 😂

And then…

WOMP. WOMP. WOOOOOMP. 🎺

I had put the WRONG END TIME on the windows. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

So there I was…halfway home… tired… hot… voiceless… and staring at the realization that I had to TURN RIGHT BACK AROUND. 🚗💨

Back to Threads of Love I went to fix my little ✨creative miscalculation✨.

And honestly?

Thank the Lord for paint. 😂🙌🏼

Because there is something pretty beautiful about being an artist and knowing that sometimes you can literally paint over a mistake and try again.

And isn’t that such a good picture of God’s goodness?

We mess up.
We get things wrong.
Sometimes we realize our mistake AFTER we think we’re finished.
And yet God doesn’t look at us and say, “Well, you ruined it. Guess we’re done here.”

He gives grace.
He gives us another opportunity.
He covers what needs covering and helps us keep moving forward.

Thank God for a God who isn’t finished with us just because we made a mistake. ❤️

And thank God for paint… because apparently I needed BOTH kinds of grace that day. 😂🎨

I am SO proud of how this storefront turned out, and even more honored that I got to be a tiny part of celebrating the grand opening of an organization whose heart is to serve others. 🫶🏼

Congratulations, Threads of Love! May God bless the work you’re doing and every person who walks through those doors. ❤️

And if you’re wondering whether I checked the times approximately 47 times before leaving the second time…

You better believe I did. 😂😂

May your day be filled with the love of Jesus! ✝️❤️🎨

👻🎃 SPOOKY SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY LANDED AT THUNDER W**E & LIQUOR! 🦇✨

I had SO much fun bringing this spooky little scene to life! 🖌️👻

Ghosts? ✔️
Pumpkins? ✔️
Bats? ✔️
A whole lot of tiny hand-painted details? ABSOLUTELY. 🎃🦇👻

This was one of those projects where I got to take a blank storefront window and turn it into an entire little Halloween world. And THAT is my favorite part of what I do. 🥹

I love creating artwork that makes you stop for a second when you walk or drive by. Something colorful, fun, unexpected, and completely custom to the business it’s created for.

For this one, the spooky theme was the assignment—and I was more than happy to bring it. 👻 From the ghosts to the pumpkins and eyeballs, every little detail was painted by hand and designed to make these windows feel like they belong to the season.

I’m so thankful for businesses that trust me to take their vision and turn it into something people can actually SEE from the street. There’s just something so satisfying about watching a plain window transform right before your eyes.

So if you’re a local business thinking, “Hmmmm… my windows could use a little something…” 👀

LET ME PAINT IT. 😂🎨

Halloween is just the beginning, too. Whether you need spooky, festive, colorful, cute, funny, seasonal, or completely custom—I would LOVE to create something for your space.

Thank you, &Liquor, for trusting me with your windows and giving me the perfect excuse to paint some ghosts, bats, and pumpkins! 👻🖌️🎃
