I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you. 🩵
Today was our Axolotl Art Camp, and we had the biggest group of young artists we’ve ever had at one of our camps!
As everyone was getting settled and ready to paint, I stopped for just a minute and took it all in. I knew I had to capture this video because it’s a moment I’ll never forget.
When I first started offering art camps, I remember having one or two artists attend… and sometimes none at all. There were days I wondered if they would ever grow. Fast forward to today, and we actually had to move the camp into our studio area to make room for everyone. It was a little stressful, but the kind of stressful you are incredibly thankful for.
My biggest goal for the camps has always been to create a place where kids can express themselves through art, make new friends, build confidence, and create without worrying about being perfect. Watching them laugh, paint, and proudly leave with their artwork reminds me exactly why we do this.
Growth like this doesn’t happen overnight, and it certainly doesn’t happen alone.
A huge shoutout to Ms. Nita for always being amazing and helping make our camps so much fun. I appreciate you more than you know! ❤️
And to every parent who has trusted us with your children, thank you. Thank you for supporting our small business, believing in what we do, and allowing us to be a small part of your kids’ summer memories.
I truly feel so blessed and grateful. Seeing these camps continue to grow is something I don’t take for granted, and I can’t wait for all the creativity, laughter, and fun still to come at our upcoming camps.
