🍎 My little built in employees helped with a cider pickup yesterday, and just HAD to pick some apples to take home, too! Charleigh could hardly contain her excitement that she was tall enough to reach the trees this year 😂

🪧 Yes, I’m open today! But please, sleep in if you can 😂 I need my coffee to kick in asap!

Now let’s get a little off topic for a second. I’m always trying to find ways to reduce my waste output, which is why I LOVE it when you bring in your own reusable cup! But, I know that’s not always possible. I try to order paper cups and recycled plastic cups when I can, but those still end up in the landfills.

Until I found these ‘Nothing’ cups. These are spill resistant, all one piece (no lids popping off!), and 100% COMPOSTABLE in 180 days. Not just recyclable, but wherever they end up, once they’re exposed to the elements, they’ve returned to the earth without contributing any toxins. The only downside I have come across so far is the adjustment to the paper “lid”. It hasn’t gotten soggy or anything, but it’s an adjustment.

Later today I’ll be trying out their cold cups and straws (which feel like plastic, but are in fact paper with the claim that they do not get soggy).

So, what are your thoughts? Want to try one out? I have samples! Let me know 🙂

👑 Big Congratulations to our 2025 Queen, Ady Harre, and her Junior Miss, Tyler Kuhn! All of the girl shined their brightest on that stage [and Braelyn gave the best performance of the Lion King opening score that I’ve ever seen]

We are OPEN today, 8am until NOON and I have your fair weekend breakfast covered!

🌾 Wheat Fest weekend is here! The boys are excited for a weekend of rides with their friends; Charleigh is excited to watch her friends on stage at the pageant [and for a fish sandwich 😂], and I’m excited for Monday when everyone can sleep off their adrenaline highs 🤪

☕️ I have a limited number of new cups today! All are $25 and save you 75¢ every time you bring it in!

🍩 I will still have lots of donuts and pastries tomorrow morning! [As if any of us need the extra sugar…but fair weekend calories don’t count] So stop on by before noon!

🌾 We’ve made it halfway through fair prep week, and Wheat Fest isn’t the only reason September is my favorite.

❤️ Happy 14th Anniversary to the one behind the scenes : the one doing all of the supply pick ups, maintenance, school drop offs, and going along with my crazy ideas. [Including, and especially, our cozy and quaint little coffee shop. So if you see him today, tell him thanks for stocking up on your favorite syrups 😜

🎃 Not ready for full on PUMPKIN yet but want just a little hint of fall? I got you. Add a little hint of pumpkin spice to your favorite coffee with just a drizzle of this *new* pumpkin sauce. It was perfect on my vanilla iced Americano 😋
