Tomorrow is deck the halls. Pop up shop hotel rooms first envisioned by Kenny

I was there more than 10 years ago when it first started and watched it grow into a display of the best of the best. Will be there tomorrow documenting the day.

I’ve been working on this labor of love for the past couple months. Tara and I have been talking with chefs and owners of restaurants in Ojai and hearing what they have to say.

This little highlight video is a sneak peak of 7 restaurant videos that are part of the virtual Taste of Ojai, a fundraiser for the Ojai Rotary Club.

The conversations always led to the importance of community, especially during these times and how the people and businesses of Ojai has stepped up to support each other. I get chills every time I listen to it.

I have entered the ! So rad to be a part of this creation with my dear friend and awesome collaborator director I’ve always wanted to shoot music videos since I was sitting in the back of the family car. I’d get lost in the music with my portable CD player staring out the window and imagine a beautiful video capturing the emotions I felt. Link to video in my bio 🎥✨

Everyone’s posting photos of their dogs. I finally got a good one. Arrow and the kids are growing up together. A beautiful sweet dog that loves to escape if she doesn’t get enough attention. She follows me around all day and dreams of a colder place to live.

I have been both filled with comfort and stretched thin, thankful for the moment and worried about the future. It has been a time to slow down, be together as a family, do my work as a mother, and find what I truly love. No one said it would be easy.

It’s been such an awesome collaboration working with Robin on a series of videos highlighting recipes from her cookbooks. I’m so happy to work with Robin again, I photographed her book “A Taste of Ojai” years ago. When we work together, we get into a natural flow, her food is delicious, her styling is beautiful, and she is an authentic person I enjoy being around. Stay tuned for more videos.

Their school set-up a drive by parade so that the teachers can see all the kids in the neighborhood. We came down from the canyon with our sign. The cars came honking down the road with teachers waving their hands, balloons hanging out the window, and tears streaming down down my face, what a strange world. Later I asked the kids, do you really miss school, they said “ yeah, kind of...”

I love collaborating with business owners in creating their branded video content. @mossbotanicals is a small business owned by an amazing woman and it was so much fun to create this video, frolicking in the chaparral and playing around with the camera.
