Did you know the YMCA farm produces 75 dozen farm fresh eggs a month? Some of our eggs are sold at the Clarion County YMCA. The rest of our eggs are distributed through the YMCA food pantry in Clarion County. If you would like to purchase eggs to support our program, please stop by the Clarion County YMCA! 🐥

Our program is growing. Kids in our summer Day Camp will incubate and hatch new chicks this summer! Kids will collect eggs daily and sell eggs at the YMCA.🥚🐓

Venango Technology Center’s Natural Resources classes, under the direction of Mr. Leisher, spent the day planting gardens of vegetables and flowers at our farm.

Their hard work will help make our Summer Day Camp & Farm Camp Program even better. We now have 70 raised garden beds! Their help and partnership is much appreciated and will allow hundreds of youth to enjoy the harvest this summer! 🌺🌻

🔥 We are so thankful for National Fuel employees who chose to complete work on the YMCA Farm during their “Days of Doing”. The guys spent the afternoon helping us prep 70 raised beds in our garden for planting! They moved a mountain of soil, helped pull weeds, and cleaned up the garden. 🪏 🌾

The farm is part of our Summer Day Camp program where we teach agricultural education to youth ages 6-12.

National Fuel's "Days of Doing" is an annual multi-day volunteer event where employees participate in environmental conservation, cleanup, and beautification projects across New York and Pennsylvania service territories. This initiative involves hundreds of employees, resulting in thousands of volunteer hours dedicated to community improvement projects, including planting and park improvements.
