On Friday Isabella Bazata along with her classmates at JWU (Johnson and Wales University R.I) and her professors will be heading to Portugal, the Volcanic Islands in the Azores to continue their studies of international wines. This is a once a once in a lifetime opportunity and she is go grateful for the chance to visit Europe and continue your education. Please wish her the best for an enjoyable experience and a safe travels. I am so proud of the many accomplishments my daughter has achieved as she pursues her career in the Culinary Arts.

A hidden gem of a restaurant in Northern Maine, 47 North Restaurant is run by two amazing people who in my opinion bring the best culinary experience. My dinner was superb and after the guests left had a chance to meet the owner with friends and engage in a wonderful conversation. Fort Kent Maine for many of us may be at the northern end or our state but they are truly in class with the 5 star restaurants of Boston and New York. https://www.facebook.com/47northbistro/

It's almost 2024, I am 62 years old and just getting started and I still have so many unanswered questions!!!! I haven’t found out who let the dogs out...where’s the beef...how to get to Sesame Street... why Dora doesn’t just use Google Maps...Why do all flavors of fruit loops taste exactly the same, or how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop......why eggs are packaged in a flimsy carton, but batteries are secured in plastic that’s tough as nails...what does the fox say... why “abbreviated” is such a long word; or why is there a D in ‘fridge’ but not in refrigerator... why lemon juice is made with artificial flavor yet dish-washing liquid is made with real lemons... why they sterilize the needle for lethal injections... and, why do you have to “put your two cents in” but it’s only a “penny for your thoughts” where’s that extra penny going, why does The Alphabet Song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star have the same tune... why did you just try to sing those two previous songs... and just what exactly is Victoria’s secret? and where is Waldo?... Can you hear me now?...and do you really think I am this witty?? ... I actually got this from a friend, who stole it from her brother’s girlfriend’s uncle’s cousin who lived next door to an old class mate’s mailman...Now it is your turn to take it from me... Copy and Paste, change the age, and enjoy your day.

This is truly why I enjoy creating memories for couples!

We are writing this LONG overdue review for Jerry because we have been running on a high since our wedding in July 2021. We went through wedding postponements due to COVID and then through an unreliable DJ who took our money and then disappeared. We put out some feelers online and heard back from Jerry within 24 hours. He engaged with us with a felt sense of genuine interest in what we had experienced and what we wanted for our wedding reception, as well as confidence in his ability to meet our expectations. Well, he exceeded our expectations. In addition to keeping everyone dancing, having a great time, and ensuring the timing of everything was perfect, he also brought safety to us as he didn’t skip a beat when it came to our wedding being a “same s*x marriage.” In meeting with numerous vendors in the planning process, we can say this wasn’t true for everyone that we met with. This unpredictability around how vendors we reached out to would respond naturally created some anxiety for us at times. From the first call, Jerry created a safe space that allowed us to move forward with no doubt. We had an incredible wedding in Maine 4th of July weekend with Jerry being a huge part of what made it so great. His daughter was an awesome sidekick as well! If we had to do it again, we’d choose Jerry! You should too!

Wonderful Wedding at Brick South, Thompson Point Portland Maine. This unique venue offers the couple a blank canvas to create a memorable experience for their guests. The vendor team was united to bring it all together that evening.

Ben and Anna got hitched a few weeks ago at Brick South in Portland Maine. What a way to kick off the wedding season! Their industrial wedding was simply amazing. Their day was filled with love from family and friends from all over the country. Congrats to the newlyweds what a wonderful way to start...
