🌟 Rebuilding, Reclaiming, and Beginning Again 🌟

Since 2017, I’ve had the deep honor of officiating hundreds of weddings and collaborating with so many incredible couples and wedding professionals. Your kind words—shared through over 200 five-star Google reviews—not only meant the world to me, they helped others find Wilde Heart Weddings and trust me with their most sacred moments.

But last year, after relocating and updating my business profile, a glitch wiped out my entire Google listing. That meant all of those beautiful reviews—gone. No warning, no recovery.
It was a devastating loss. One that contributed to my decision earlier this year to step away and reevaluate.

At the time, I thought I might be closing this chapter. But the truth is—I didn’t want to stop officiating. I just didn’t want it to be my whole identity anymore. I had poured so much into the business that somewhere along the way, I lost connection to my “why.”
So I let go. I created space to breathe, to rest, and to reconnect with my heart.

And what I found there… was that same love for this work, still steady and true. I just needed to meet it again in a new way—one rooted in balance, creativity, and soul.

So now, I’m rebuilding—on my own terms. Slower. Softer. More intentional. And with the incredible addition of my associate officiant Anika, who brings her own beautiful energy while helping carry the Wilde Heart magic forward.

Today, I’m asking for your help:

💛 If I’ve officiated your wedding…
💛 If we’ve worked together in this wildly beautiful industry…
💛 If my work has touched your life in some way…

Would you consider leaving a review on my new Google profile? Your words won’t just help me rebuild what was lost… They’ll help me shape what comes next—something more aligned, more grounded, and filled with heart.

Thank you for continuing on this journey with me.

Moving Forward

“To let go does not mean to get rid of. To let go means to let be. When we let be with compassion, things come and go on their own.” — Jack Kornfield

After sharing my decision to step back from officiating weddings, I experienced a confusing range of emotions — relief, love, compassion, and also an unexpected profound loss, which ultimately led to beautiful clarity.

That is why, in my post earlier this month, I shared that I have not left this part of my life. What I actually needed was to create space — space to breathe, to wander, and to reconnect with my heart.

But the heart of what I do... the sacred magic of ceremonies and the honor of witnessing love — remains with me always. It’s something I could never let go. So while I may slow down, say “no” more often, and focus on what feeds my soul, I’m still here, just in a gentler, more grounded way that feels true to who I am now.

To support this new balance, I’m excited to share that an amazing associate officiant, Anika joined my team. She shares my values and passion for writing, sharing love stories, and creating meaningful, heartfelt ceremonies; So couples will still get that Wilde Heart experience, even when I’m focusing on slowing down and nurturing other parts of my soul.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. The road ahead may look different, but the love at its core is unchanged.

Much love,
Jenn

... Clarity ...

When I posted that I was leaving the business and taking a step back from weddings, it was a surrender. I know/knew it was necessary, and the next step to totally let go.

I've also known that I was not done forever with officiating ceremonies. It’s confusing to know you need to move on and let go... but that it's not "the end."

Clarity is knowing that I am letting go of the way things have been.

What that looks like is slowing down, weekends in nature sleeping under the full moon, sitting on the couch for hours (without my laptop) just binge watching a series for the 3rd time while snuggling my pets... and not feeling guilty or like I need to be working.

Clarity is realizing that what I really let go of is "Jenn, the wedding officiant" being the center of my identity, weddings and the business being a priority and leaving important parts of myself behind.

From 'Will You Marry Us?' To 'The Wilde Unknown'

After miles of winding trails to share epic desert sunsets, hundreds of love stories and sacred vows, and adventures far beyond the remote corners of Utah… It’s time for me to take a new road.

This path has shaped me, challenged me, and filled me beyond words, making this announcement come from a full heart; that is immensely grateful for the love stories I’ve had the honor of sharing... I’m taking a step away from officiating weddings.

I will carry every ceremony, every tear-filled vow, every barefoot moment with me — always. This isn’t a goodbye. It’s a gentle turning toward what’s next. I don’t know exactly where the road leads, but I trust it because I am ready to wander.

Over the next few days, I’ll share more about what this new chapter looks like — creative offerings, ways to connect, and what’s calling my soul in new directions.

Whether you’ve been part of my path with weddings or are just arriving, I hope you’ll stick around. The journey continues — just on a different trail.

Much Love,
Jenn

Hang on to your hats, I am going to share something crazy!!!
I MISS SNOW & WINTERY MOUNTIAN WEDDINGS!

I love living in Southern Utah, because I am truly at home in the desert. But, I realized that I also really love winter weddings and elopements.

I took December completely "off" and have not worked or been part of any ceremonies, to rest and recharge from a crazy fall wedding season.

I am missing these moments ❤️

Taking a little trip down memory lane for our 22 year anniversary!

12.28.2001
I met my soulmate at a bar downtown
I actually saw him for the first time on the winter solstice, a week earlier our eyes met across the room, and I knew there was a deeper connection!

08.30.2022
He asked me to marry him under the stars at a Bob Dylan concert in Park City... I said Hell Yes! He also proposed with my ring a couple of days later, over breakfast on our deck.

12.28.2002 - Wedding Day!

2003 - Moved to Washington.

2005 - Big changes!
Dylan arrived.
Garrett had been Tanners "Dad" since shortly after we met, but it was made official that Summer.

2007 - Moved back to Utah.

2008 to present... All the ups and downs, healing, growth, loss, pain, distractions, challenges, joy, laughs, and love, along with sunsets, sunrises, rainbows, full moons, dark skies, desert roads. All of which led to incredible memories 🩶

He is my rock, the stoic balance to my chaos. My best friend and the love of my life!

G +J FOREVER!

If you have been following me for awhile, you have probably noticed that I go through phases when it comes to social media.

I take long breaks from apps like IG etc. to just be. Mostly because even though I'm an extrovert I also value my time alone without any noise from the outside world. It's all about finding balance.

Because of the busiest fall wedding season ever, moving, grief, and just the ups and downs of life my socials have kinda gone dark.

Honestly, I am not magically back "on" and ready to share all the light lovey-dovey goodness oof weddings, in fact I can confidently say that I will still be a bit inconsistent on socials. Because that's just me 🩶

Moving into 2025 will look different, slower, less travel, fewer weddings in order to have a deeper connection with my couples, more intention, and spiritual ceremonies.

Really, just me, being authentically me, no matter what that might look like to everyone else.

In the meantime, I am excited to start sharing as I take a few weeks to reminisce about 2024 and all the incredible love stories I was honored to be part of!

Recent events have shaken us all, regardless of who you are, the magnitude of the changes brought forth on November 6, 2024, will resonate in our lives for what feels like an insurmountable stretch into our future. Because of that, I want to recognize the need for support, understanding, and unity now more than ever.

I haven't used this space to discuss politics, yet tried to make it clear that I am a loud advocate for equality and part of the LGBTQ+ community. So I hope it comes as no surprise, that there are certain things I can not ignore—like the importance of equality, the safety of our communities, and the protection of human rights.

This is a place where love, respect, and understanding matter above all. I believe human rights, empathy, and compassion are essential values, and I will always stand by them. I’m here to serve people from all walks of life and all beliefs, and that commitment won’t waver, even if it means losing a few folxs along the way.

Any background, culture, or belief, man, woman, nonbinary, LGBTQ+, from a—you are seen, valued, and respected. I am committed to being a light during what might be a dark time for many humans.

Thank you for being here, and know that you’re in a place where you are truly welcome.

Feeling Safe Is A Human Right.
