We’ve sure been missing the peonies, but the sunflowers are giving us so much life and joy right now! 💛

Are you the kind of person who soaks up whatever flowers are in season, or do you stay loyal to your favorites? I definitely have a few I hold close (can you guess what they are?), but I’ve grown to love the seasonal vibes.

We planted a big row of sunflowers for my mom and sister - they’re their favorites. My mom says it feels like coming home to family when she sees them 🥰 And my sister? We call her our sunshine girl, and I have so many sweet memories of her with sunflowers.

P.S. We’ve got bunches of farm-fresh sunflowers available if you’d like to bring some sunshine home with you! $15🌻 DM us to pickup!

The first blooms are here!!!

We’re not quite at full bouquet season yet, but these early beauties are popping and it’s giving us all the heart eyes over here. Bouquets will start rolling out in the next week or two, and if you’re on our list, I’ll be reaching out soon! This first variety you see pictured is Coral Sunset 😍

A little reminder: stems will be on the shorter side this season as we’re leaving lots of leaves on the plants to help them soak up the sun and build strong, healthy roots for the future. These are first year plants. It’s all part of the magic of growing something from the ground up! ✨

Big blooms are coming… and we’re just getting started.

Stay tuned - it’s going to be a gorgeous season!

And if you are not on the list yet, comment FLOWER and we’ll add you! 🌸

We’re taking you along as we start and prepare our peony farm! We asked in our stories what you thought the first step was, and most of you got it right… testing the soil! Peonies prefer a slightly higher soil pH, so we wanted to make sure our soil was ready for these beautiful plants to thrive🌸

This land has been in our family for almost a century (we might have to get it certified soon!). The fruit trees here before thrived, so we were hopeful the soil was in good shape. We will have to share more about the history soon too!

One of the best resources in Utah is , and we were so impressed with how quickly they got us our soil results! Their instructions made the process so simple.

So, what do you think—was the soil ready for peonies, or did it need some amendments? Drop your best guess below! 👇🏼

This is how the farm looked right after planting in November—hard to believe, right? I’m counting down the days until May and June to see the blooms! 💕 While peony plants take 3-4 years to fully mature (so they might look a little scraggly this year 😂), I know it’s still going to be absolutely stunning. Who’s sticking around to see the transformation in just a few months? I can’t wait for the before-and-after!

Dreaming of flowers tonight 🌸 So excited to start my seeds in just a couple of weeks! Here is some fun color from the 2024 season.

We stopped by the farm tonight and my husband was already looking for signs of life in the peony field 🤣 It’s a little early, sweetheart. But man, we cannot wait for spring to arrive! Spring flowers are my favorite favorite favorite. What flower are you starting to dream about? This last year I grew to love daffodils, but tulips will always have my heart. I cannot wait to see them pop through.

I’m going to share a photo of flowers everyday this month to get through the dreariness of January. Who wants to join me? Got the idea from ❤️
