Transco Events on Frederick

Due to the inclement weather in the forecast for Thursday, we are moving the Party in the Park event to Transco Events on Frederick in the Grand Ballroom on the 2nd floor! The band, The Faster Horses, will be traveling to Oelwein from Nashville and we want to make sure we have a safe, dry location for them to entertain us!

We will still have food vendors that will be located in the North Parking lot of the event center, with the Methodist Church pie and cotton candy located inside the building! Drawings for door prizes and Passport winner will still happen! Miss Oelwein crowning will also take place Thursday at the event!

Thanks in advance for understanding this decision that we felt we needed to make. We realize that it is more fun outside in the park, but it is still going to be a great night! Please join us for the first event of the summer!

Friday Update - The North side parapet work is complete. The East side is next, then sandbalsting & tuckpointing both sides. 30 Days must past to ensure all of the materials are completely dry. Then both sides will be painted.
May brings just under 20 Graduation Celebrations to Our Hometown Oelwein's Premier Event Center.

Oelwein High School Prom is set for Saturday, May 2, and it’s going to be an unforgettable evening filled with glowing lights, great music, and lasting memories.

📸 Pictures: 5:00–7:30 PM
🎉 Grand March: 6:30–7:30 PM at the Williams Center
💃 Dance: 8:00–11:00 PM at the Transco Events Center
🌙 Post Prom: Immediately following until 3:00 AM at the High School Gymnasium/Cafeteria

Hey West Central Prom-goers!
Holt Portrait Design will be set up from 7-8pm on Saturday night in the "Groom's Room" on the 1st level of Transco Events on Frederick. Honestly, we'll probably be set up by 6:30ish.
We will have extra order forms on hand and we found the PERFECT area to compliment the Great Gatsby theme!
