A little behind the scenes at The Golden Oak 🤎

We’re not just a space for weddings, parties, and events — we’re also a space to create.

From content days and brand shoots to interviews, photos, and everything in between, we love seeing people bring their ideas to life here.

This day looked a little different as Major Media was here creating content and sitting down with our owner for an interview.

If you’ve been looking for a space to film, create, or bring your next idea to life, reach out to our manager and let’s make it happen. ✨

🚨 IMPORTANT SCAM ALERT regarding Golden Oak Venue 🚨

Hello local vendors and Odessa community,
It has come to our attention here at the Golden Oak Venue team that individuals are promoting a fake event at our venue for this Friday, September 4th. They are impersonating our team and or falsely claiming our location is theirs, then attempting to collect money for vendor spots or more for a "First Friday Vendors Market."

Please be aware of the following:

* No Event Scheduled: We are NOT hosting a First Friday Vendors Market, or any other event, on September 4th.

* Fake Location Claims: These scammers may be trying to pass off our building as their own. Please know that this location is strictly operated by the official Golden Oak Venue management.

* Official Announcements Only: We will NEVER host a public event without first posting it right here on our official "Golden Oak Venue" page. If you see an event advertised for our location but it is not posted by us, do not trust it. Please only rely on our official platforms.

* How We Accept Payments: All official vendor payments for Golden Oak Venue are processed securely through our official Jotform, which automatically sends you a receipt upon confirmation. We will only use this form unless a special circumstance is arranged directly between both parties. We will never ask you to secure a spot via random personal CashApp, Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal accounts.

* In-Person Meetings: We offer in-person meetings inside the venue! We encourage all vendors to come see the space beforehand so you can verify the location and speak with our official team face-to-face.

How you can help us spread the word:

* Tag a Vendor: Please tag your local vendor friends in the comments below so they see this warning and don't lose their hard-earned money!
* Share this post to your timeline and any local Odessa community groups you are a part of.

If you have already sent money to these scammers, we highly recommend reporting the fraudulent transaction to your bank or the payment app you used immediately.
If you ever need to verify a future event, set up an in-person meeting, or ask about a vendor opportunity, please reach out to us directly:

📞 432-279-0039

📩 Or send a direct message right here to this official page.

Thank you for helping us keep our local vendor community safe!

Before you book your venue, ask these questions:

• What’s included in the rental price?
• How many hours do we get access to the venue?
• Is setup and cleanup included?
• Can we bring our own vendors?
• Are there any preferred vendors we have to use?
• What tables, chairs, linens, or décor are included?
• Is there a getting-ready space?
• What’s the backup plan for outdoor events?
• Are there any noise or end-time restrictions?
• What additional fees should we know about?
• What’s the payment schedule and cancellation policy?

The right venue should look beautiful and make sense for your day. Save this for your next venue tour. 🤎
