Update on missing statue, he has been found!
Whilst cleaning guest bathroom this morning and emptying waste basket which felt very heavy I discovered that someone had wrapped statue in toilet paper and hid it in there,can’t imagine why anyone would do that but glad to have him back!

Thank you to everyone who came out today for our 3rd Grilled Cheese Fest.
A special thank you to the musical entertainment Nuthin Special for performing throughout the whole event and thank you to the vendors who participated. The grand total was $1,623 which will be presented to the Schuyler County Humane Society. On a less cheerful note, would the person who decided it was ok to take a brass statue from the bathroom please find it in your conscience to return it. It has been a beloved possession of my husband’s for many years and we would really like to have it back, no questions asked you can leave on the porch after dark, whatever you feel comfortable with, throw it over the fence if that’s easier. It’s a shame that we invite people into our home for a fundraiser and someone felt the need to take advantage.

Update! Whilst cleaning guest bathroom this morning and emptying waste bin discovered that someone for whatever reason had wrapped the missing statue in toilet paper and placed it in there. 🤷‍♀️
Very strange but glad to have him back.

It's perfect weather for a gooey grilled cheese sandwich and a warm bowl of soup! And, to start your holiday shopping! Fiddlesticks Tea is hosting another grilled cheese fest and craft fair to benefit the Humane Society of Schuyler County ! Enjoy the music of Nuthin' Special to add to the festivities! What a great way to spend a grey November afternoon!
