Owners Riley Sowle and Anita Jensen, together with their family, transformed this once-forgotten property into a venue filled with warmth and heart to create a space that celebrates life’s most meaningful moments.

Today, the Riviera welcomes couples to enjoy an entire weekend of celebration — from Friday’s rehearsal and decorating, to Saturday’s riverside ceremony beneath the tent’s soft glow, to Sunday’s quiet goodbyes. With over 300 feet of river frontage, lush lawns, a classic white barn, private bridal suites, and thoughtful touches like a koi pond, fire table, and ample space for up to 200 guests, the Riviera offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.

More than just a venue, the Oconto Riviera is a reflection of family, love, and legacy — a place where every “I do” becomes part of the story that started right here, on the river.

Together, we’ve built everything from barns to businesses, and through each challenge, we’ve chosen faith over fear, and love over limits.

Our story isn’t one of overnight success. It’s one of perseverance. We risked everything to buy a small farm in Wisconsin, and when life threw us curveballs — a pandemic, business pauses, and rebuilding seasons — we leaned on each other and kept going.🕊

Out of that season of struggle came something truly beautiful — The Oconto Riviera, a dream venue handcrafted with heart and purpose.

Once an old rundown farm, now transformed into a stunning, rustic-luxe wedding destination, the Riviera captures everything we stand for: timeless beauty, craftsmanship, family, and faith. Every beam, and handmade detail tells a story — our story.

It’s a space designed for love stories to unfold, where couples say “I do” surrounded by the Oconto river, outdoor dancing, and that one-of-a-kind Wisconsin sunset.

We couldn't have done it without each other and the support of family! We have hosted 40 weddings and will continue to serve our clients and this community.
