Stella’s senior session was such a fun one!

We went to two different locations, and she had the BEST outfit choices, which gave us so much variety throughout her session. We ended up with so many great photos that it was honestly hard to narrow them down!

Stella and her family were also so easy to chat with, and the session just flew by. I love when it feels more like hanging out and catching up than a photo session.

A beautiful wedding day at Oconomowoc Lake Club on Friday celebrating Chandler & Andrew! 🤍

There was something so special about their smaller, more intimate wedding day. The kind of day that feels relaxed, personal, and all about being present with the people who mean the most.

We had a little rain to work around, but we were still able to sneak outside for some photos and get creative indoors, too! Sometimes those unexpected moments make for some of the most fun photos.

Congratulations, Chandler & Andrew! Thank you for letting me be part of such a special day. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness together! 🥂

Tessa // Arrowhead Union High

So fun getting to photograph another senior from this family! 💛 I photographed her brother’s senior pictures last year, and this year it was Tessa's turn!

They are such genuinely nice people, and we always have a great time chatting throughout the session. I love getting to know my clients and their families, so it makes it extra fun when they come back for another session!

We started Arianna’s session with some family photos before transitioning into her senior portraits, and we ended up with SO many great photos!

I really enjoyed my time with Wynter and her mom! They were both so down to earth, and we ended up chatting about traveling throughout the session, which made the time fly by.

We stayed at one location but still got SO much variety for her senior pictures—from the river to the flowers and fields. I love when we can get completely different looks without having to drive all over the place!

Evan had one request for his senior pictures—he wanted a colorful sky. 🌅

This was actually the first time I’ve had a colorful sky like this for a senior session, and WOW… the sky definitely delivered! It was so perfect and made for some pretty amazing photos. 😍📸

I’d say we got exactly what we were hoping for!

A little wedding teaser from Minnesota wedding at the very unique Adler Ranch venue!

It was a VERY rainy day, but thankfully we had a few small windows where the rain let up enough to sneak outside and get some portraits. And those little windows were totally worth it! We even got some pretty fall color, which made for some beautiful photos.

Adler Ranch is such a cool and unique venue with so many fun details and photo opportunities. It definitely isn’t your typical wedding venue, and I loved getting to photograph all the little things that made this day their own.

I’m also thankful for the weddings where Matt and I get to do both photo and video. It’s fun being able to bounce ideas off of each other throughout the day and work together to capture everything from both perspectives.

Rain and all, it was such a fun day with a wonderful couple, a really unique venue, and just a taste of fall color.

One of my favorite parts of this job is when clients come back to me over the years and I get to be a part of so many different seasons of their lives.

I’ve had the privilege of photographing this family from Chicago several times over the years, so it meant a lot when they reached out about their very first family reunion and asked me to be there to capture it!

This time, I got to meet the rest of their family, and they were all so nice, witty, and just an absolute hoot to be around! 😂 There was no shortage of laughs, and it was so much fun seeing everyone together.

I’m so thankful they thought of me for such a special get-together and trusted me to capture these memories for them!

Kalbacken // Maternity

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to see people through different seasons of life.

I had the pleasure of photographing these two for their wedding, so when they reached out about maternity photos, I was so excited to see them again!

We spent the evening walking around the park, catching up, laughing, and taking photos along the way. Honestly, it felt less like a photo session and more like hanging out with old friends. 🥰

They are such a down-to-earth, genuine couple, and I’m so excited for them as they get ready to welcome their little one. It’s pretty special getting to be there to capture another chapter for them!
