June 27th, 2-5PM — Ciabatta (Italy): Create rustic Italian ciabatta, known for its airy interior and crisp crust, and discover how this modern bread became a staple for sandwiches and everyday meals.

Join our hands‑on bread education series as we explore the world through its most beloved traditional breads! Each month we’ll dive into the cultural history and baking techniques behind iconic breads, learning not only how they’re made but why they matter in their home countries. Through shared baking experiences and stories, participants will connect with global cultures and each other—fostering community one loaf at a time.

Students will need to bring an apron and a mixing bowl (4-quart size or larger), as they’ll be mixing their dough in class and taking it home to bake.

Have a sewing machine collecting dust? Sip and Sew is a relaxed, beginner-friendly camp for adults to learn the basics in a fun, welcoming environment. Participants start with hand-stitching, then move on to cutting patterns and using a sewing machine with step-by-step guidance. Bring your own machine or use one provided. Throughout the camp, you’ll create projects like a pin cushion, double-sided apron, and drawstring backpack. Bring a beverage of your choice and enjoy a laid-back, creative experience while building skills you can use for years to come.

Future fashion designers ages 9–17 will explore sewing and creativity in this hands-on camp. Campers will learn hand-stitching, basic sewing techniques, pattern cutting, and how to use a sewing machine with guided instruction. They’ll build confidence while creating projects like a pin cushion, double-sided apron, and drawstring backpack. Participants should be comfortable using scissors and following instructions. Each day includes a short snack break—please bring a snack and water. The camp concludes with a special fashion show for family and friends.

Dave Cornelius and Bob Ray

Dave Cornelius is a true musical eclectic with degrees is music and technology, Dave was classically trained, raised a jazz player, schooled in evangelical/sacred music and spent time as a professional musician touring, performing, recording and writing everything from jingles and movie themes to internationally released country and gospel songs

Bob Ray is an award winning singer-songwriter from the hills of north Mississippi. He has been writing & performing for over 25 years. He founded the Gum Tree Songwriters Festival which operated in conjunction with Tupelo’s Gum Tree Arts Festival for over 30 years. Currently, he is the co-host of Songwriters Sessions Live at The Blue Canoe, in Tupelo, a monthly songwriters show. He has twice been named a Kerrville New Folk-Songwriting Finalist. He has been a prize winner in the Ozark Folk Festival Songwriting Festival.
