The playa gifted me my first DJ set,
after years of [insert distortion here]
and what I found was more than music —
it was family.
Camp Fuego, thank you for holding me in your fire,
for giving me space to be loud,
to be soft,
to be seen.
To my POC kin who danced beside me,
who reminded me that rhythm is memory
and community is medicine —
this set was for you.
Home isn’t a place,
