Acoustic or Electric violin? Which do you prefer?

Rachel & Genie are both available to perform solo violin - electric or acoustic. The best fit depends on your venue, the event and the music you want to hear.

Solo violin can be a great live music option for your wedding, corporate event or party.

Acoustic violin is best for classical music. Electric violin performs with backing tracks so is perfect for pop.

Video 2: Calum Scott - You are the Reason. This was a special request for a recent wedding at SF City Hall (excuse the background noise!!!). This is a venue where acoustic only is allowed, so you get a taste of an unaccompanied pop song performed simply with the melody.

The early bird catches the worm!!!!! Early morning weddings at San Francisco City Hall are worth the early alarm clock ⏰ We get treated to the stunning architecture while it’s empty of people. Breathtaking! The building itself is dreamy - the perfect backdrop to a romantic city wedding! Especially with violin & cello music echoing through the air ❤️🎻🎶 String duo with NO amplification needed - the high ceilings do the work for us!!

Playing in a string quartet is like being in a rock band with friends. It’s the most glorious musical experience!
As a cellist, sometimes I’m the rhythm section holding everyone together. And other times I get to play the yummiest melodies.

Classical or Pop, it’s all the same. Sharing the delicious sound of violins, viola & cello engaged in exciting musical conversation brings me all the joy. 😊 That’s why I started Synchronicity Strings!
