The Blast Master himself will be at our Oakland headquarters in breaking down the full culture of Hip Hop, past, present and future. Pull up for a night of powerful conversation, including Q&A, music and live youth performances.

Rec Les is the handyperson who fixes all the things at EBCS. He is going through some health struggles that have left him largely unable to work, and he has also been unable to find health insurance that will cover the needed surgery. Rec has started a Go Fund Me to try to close the financial gap, and I have made a donation. I hope you will consider doing the same.

East Bay Community Space is once again hiring a part-time paid cleaner to augment our existing group of cleaners. Join our great team and take pride in helping EBCS to look its best. Pay is $25 per hour, negotiable. Very flexible hours. If you are interested, please email us at [email protected].

Must be familiar with EBCS activities.

These are shifts of approximately 2-4 hours each, and they occur 3 to 10 times per week. We can assign many or few shifts to a single cleaner.
