Countdown has started, hope to see you there! Art in the Elements❤️
🌌 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲?
Apparently, something pretty spectacular. 🌸✨
𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 returns to Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester September 2–7, and this year is a big one.
It’s the event’s 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆.
Or, as Meadow Brook puts it, “ten orbits around the sun.” 🌎
So naturally, they’re celebrating by going 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲.
For six days, more than 20 large-scale floral sculptures and displays created by floral artists from across the country will transform the historic estate.
And we’re not talking about bouquets sitting nicely on tables.
🌌 Black holes.
✨ Nebulas.
🌈 The Aurora Borealis.
👽 Maybe even little green men.
🪼 And yes… possibly space jellyfish.
All interpreted through flowers, plants, color and some seriously imaginative design.
The installations continue along Meadow Brook’s woodland paths, turning a walk through the estate into something closer to an outdoor art gallery.
Then you get to go 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲.
The 88,000-square-foot Tudor Revival mansion will feature additional floral designs inspired by its architecture and art collection.
And the house itself is worth seeing.
Built between 1926 and 1929 for Matilda Dodge Wilson—widow of Dodge automobile co-founder John Dodge—and her second husband Alfred Wilson, Meadow Brook is now a 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸.
There’s even a nighttime option. 🌙
On September 2 and 3, special evening tours run from 6–9 p.m., giving visitors a chance to see the installations illuminated against the night sky.
Honestly, if there were ever a year to do the evening version, 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁. 😍
Your ticket also includes self-guided access to the mansion and grounds, plus Knole Cottage and Danny’s Cabin—and this is the final weekend to visit the historic playhouses in 2026.
🌸 Flowers.
🏰 A historic mansion.
🌲 Woodland trails.
🌌 And an entire universe of floral art.
