"Sad night last night but today is a brighter day. The ewe (female sheep) on the left lambed a stillborn and we were unable to resuscitate it. She cried most of the night longing for her lamb after we removed it.

The ewe on the right lambed twins last week, though they were very small. It seems that today she has given one of her twins to the grieving mother to raise as her own. This is a photo of them together with their new children."

A Galapagos sea lion named Panchita was caught up in a net, which left deep cuts all over her body. She managed to get away and make it to this hotel, where animal advocates lovingly nursed her back to health for three months.
A special bond was formed between Panchita and her rescuers. After she was fully healed, Panchita was released back to her natural habitat in the wild. But every day she returns to visit the humans who rescued her after being out at sea all day. She spends time with her rescuers and takes a peaceful, afternoon nap on her special chair. Then she'll return to the sea, and her rescuers know she'll be back to visit them the next day.

A couple of weeks ago Mike & I were riding our bikes on the boardwalk & came across this sweet soul walking his beloved golden.
She’s 14 & not so good with her legs so he pulls her around on this bed he made so she can enjoy the smells of the ocean. I had to stop & express my love for his extraordinary care ... compassion, kindness, love. I need more people like this in my life.

A bus driver stated, "Well, interesting evening route. While driving to school I see this dog I know where he lives but is 5 miles from home 🏡. I know all the dogs in the housing units.( and toss treats) I'm the dog 🐕whisperer ....pulled over told him come on get on I'll take you home...He jumped on and rest is history." ❤️

WEDNESDAY WISDOMS!
Today I am focusing on questions I get about summer outdoor wedding and sites available. As we live in a Coastal area, this is really a popular option. There is a lot of planning involved, and these sites book up quickly!
All State Parks are available for weddings, if you just want to get married on the beach, there is no charge except for the park entrance fee. If you are interested in renting the Pavilion at Rocky Neck State Park, be prepared to pay! All the fee information is available on the DEEP web site!
The Mansion at Harkness Memorial State Park is available for rentals and the cost includes the first floor of the mansion and the south courtyard tent outside - nice deal, but you can also get married on the beach or gazebo at no charge.
One last thought - all open air picnic shelters in all the state parks are available for rent, some are quite large, prices are budget friendly $40-$100!! Again all fees are available on the DEEP web site!

Christmas weddings are so beautiful, and we are celebrating several winter outdoor ceremonies... photos soon!

I am so enjoying the couples that are risk takers and really changing it up this season!!!! We are having a wonderful season, I hope you newly engaged couples will call me, let’s see what unique things we can do for you!!!!
