Looking for a fun even to attend today in the North Metro area? Come to the CountryFest Ribfest in Oak Grove. There will be a lot to do at the CountryFest but at 6pm it open for the public to get some amazing ribs.

Even with the smoker taking a long winter’s rest, the smoker has been earning its dedicated parking space in the garage.

So far this year (from my not so great memory) I’ve smoked the following.

Brisket - 360 lbs
Pulled pork - 400 lbs
Pulled chicken - 80 lbs
Shredded Beef - 60 lbs

We still have a month and a half of Farmer’s markets to go as well as other events. If you haven’t tried our amazing bbq, stop on by the Wyoming Farmers Market.

I haven’t been very good about taking pics for the events I’ve catered this year. But glad that someone took one for me at this one. It was our Church’s 30th anniversary. We catered the pulled pork, Mac and Cheese, and Backroad ‘Que Corn.

Spring is here. The sun and warm weather has finally arrived. And event season is upon us.

Although the smoker has slumbered most of the winter, it’s stoked up and ready for its first event next week.
