I have wanted to take the Master Gardner Class for so many years! When I found it was being offered for the first time in our county I jumped at the chance. Scared and nervous I set out alone to class every Wednesday for 13 weeks. Served over 40 volunteer hours.
Today I joined 7 others and officially graduated from the Master Gardner program . Thank you to everyone for the support and encouragement as I fulfilled a dream of mine.

Happy 1st day of April and April Fools Day!

I Thought I would share a mix of pictures from my morning walk through the garden. Everyday seems to bring something new and exciting to see. I Love this time of year and all that spring has to offer.

These speciality Daffodils are GORGEOUS!! They are coming in so strong and plentiful!! Daffodils only last so long then they are gone for the year..
Lets get some of these beauties in your home. There is nothing better then walking through your home and seeing these beauties sitting on your table.

Did you know..There are at least 25 different daffodil species and up to 13,000 hybrids. They're the official 10th wedding anniversary flower. Tradition holds that if a daffodil is forced to bloom for the Chinese New Year, it will bring luck to the whole household. Daffodils contain sap that's often poisonous to other plants.

Spring is here and bursting at the seams!! Daily walks around the garden show more and more abundance of blooms.

Our spring CSA (community supported agriculture) is available now. We have a limited amount of slots still available. This is an opportunity to have a fresh bouquet of flowers grown here in the Treasure Valley and not transported in from other countries.

The aliums are growing big! These beautiful purple blooms are going to look so good in your bouquets! They make a wonderful centepiece or statement piece.

Alliums are members of the onion family. Cut a stem or crush a leaf and the connection is obvious! In the garden, these late spring and early summer flowers have a look that’s both regal and playful.
An allium flower head is a cluster of individual florets. The overall shape of this flower cluster can be round, oval or cascading, and the flower color may be white, yellow, pink, purple or blue. Heights also vary, with some alliums standing just 5 inches tall, and others reaching 4 feet. Each type of allium adds its own distinctive style and personality to the garden.
