Playing in a band helps making new friends, building confidence musically and personally, developing musical communication skills, improving music rhythm and having a fun time.
All students will be taught how to communicate and interact with each other, listen in a band setting, develop time feel, song forms, rehearsal techniques, stage presence, operate equipment and team work

Ran mini-camp/rock band class this past week at the Piermont PAL. 4 days 1 1/2 hrs each day. Girls got throught three songs. Great job!! Rockland Rock Band Camp will be at Piermont PAL Commiuntiy Center in July for the Summer Band Camp with Live performance.

Monday, August 10th- Saturday , August 10th (performance)
10:00 AM-4:00 PM

5 days plus performance day - more than any other music
camp. �

Full day sessions include playing/rehearsal/group lessons sessions in AM.
Afternoon activities could include music(rock/pop) history, music appreciation(exposure to different styles), recording on the computer, analyze specific bands,styles and albums, jam session.....

At Anjel Blue Studios, a professional rehearsal studio in Nyack.�Performances on Saturday, July 20th and Aug 10th at The Turning Point in Piermont. or another Rockland venue.(to be confirmed)
