Sunday is the day that Alexis & Nate will be married at Old Stonegate Farms 💚 Their love story started “with lots of phone calls—and a pretty thorough “vetting process” from Alexis’ friends before they ever officially met. Eventually, after overhearing Alexis spend hours on the phone with Nate from her room across the hall, Maddie finally told her to stop overthinking it ~ just invite Nate to join them for a country dancing night at The Pipeline. Early in their relationship, after Alexis had a particularly rough shift at work, Nate showed up at her door with two bouquets of flowers because he “couldn’t decide,” and since then, her nightstand has never been without flowers. From there, things only got better: a trip to Traverse City, traveling to Colorado to visit Mya, a long ✈️ weekend to Alabama. As time passed, Nate discovered that he actually enjoys face masks, couples massages and pedicures—something Alexis considers a major win! “Self-care nights" have become a regular occurence. 🙌🙌 They have also become maybe a little too invested in reality TV, 📺 turning each weekly episode into a full-blown event. So when it came time for Nate to plan the 💍proposal, it was bound to be memorable.... After Alexis finished her third 12-hour shift in a row—tired, cranky, and only wanting ice cream—Nate had other plans. He secretly organized both of their families to meet afterward under the disguise of dinner with “out-of-town family,” but made a detour to a nearby park. Very on-brand, Nate pulled the car over about 100 yards from the parking lot claiming he urgently had to use the bathroom. His strategic “door pee” maneuver gave him just enough time to grab the ring from the car door and convince Alexis to take a short walk. Once they reached the park, Nate proposed—and Alexis quickly realized their parents, grandparents, and Maddie were all there waiting to celebrate (with Mya joining on FaceTime).
Alexis and Nate are so grateful for the life they’ve built together and for the way God brought their paths together. They can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of their marriage surrounded by all of the people they love most.”

Saturday, Becca & Matt will be married at Old Stonegate Farms 💚 Dresses and love stories are some of my favorite things about celebrations we host, so you know I had to ask 😊

The couple met on bumble in January 2023, going on their first date to a Grand Rapids 🏒 Griffins game, then making it official with a Red Wings 🥅 game date on February 25th of 2023. Becca said, “after a long wait, the man finally proposed 💍 December 28 of 2024!”

Mr. & Mrs. Cooper will make it officially OFFICIAL by 5pm June 6th 💚

This weekend starts with Morgan & Mitch who told me they met when they moved into the same apartment! 😊 Morgan shared, “we had mutual friends but a year after living together I made him go car shopping with me and we’ve been dating ever since!”

Saturday was a fabulous day, celebrating Kam and Hannah = Fowlers 💚 The weather was perfect!

Once again this weekend, family and friends ( Bethy & The Aunts ) followed Hannah’s detailed layouts to display her vision of soft pinks and golds throughout our venue. LOVED the choice of our friends at wassermans_flowers who added fresh, fragrant hydrangeas and greenery around the ceremony and reception spaces. The baby’s breath and pearls added a soft touch.

I had the pleasure to walk with Hannah and her dad to our Cascade ceremony site where Kam was waiting. Hannah’s dress was regal…exquisite… so lovely. I think Kam briefly melted when the doors opened and Hannah was standing there with instrumental swiftie magic playing as she joined him at the arbor.

Saturday, May 30th was a perfect day! Fun, food, drinks, dancing and merriment as the Carlsons and Fowlers watched the new Mr. & Mrs. enjoy the heck out of their celebration at Old Stonegate Farms

It’s rehearsal day! Hannah and Kam are getting married at Old Stonegate Farms tomorrow 😊

Here’s what the almost Mrs. Fowler told me about how they met. “We crossed paths many times throughout the years both growing up in Muskegon but our story started at a bon fire with mutual friends. We sat and talked for hours and a week later went on our first date. We have talked every day since and can’t wait for our future together.” 💚

I will see you soon, Hannah! Let the frivolity begin!!
