Here's the thing: your photographer doesn't know your family the way you do.

They don't know that Aunt Susan basically raised you.

They don't know your parents are divorced and shouldn't be photographed together.

In fact, please, let them eat!

Dinner is one of the best parts of the whole evening. It's when everyone finally gets to sit down, dig into that delicious food, and actually talk with the people at their table. That's the good stuff!

Which is exactly why we're so thoughtful about how much we squeeze into the dinner portion of a timeline. Because there's a lot that loves to sneak in:

Before you order 150 wedding favors, ask yourself one question:

Would I actually take this home?

Wedding favors can be adorable. These little succulents? Such a cute addition to the reception!

But favors are also one of those wedding details where we encourage couples to think about the logistics, not just the Pinterest photo. Because the prettiest favor in the world isn't much of a gift if it never makes it out the door!

So before you commit, run through a few quick questions:

✔ Are they easy for guests to carry?
✔ Can out-of-town guests travel home with them?
✔ Do they need special care to survive the night?
✔ And most importantly... what happens to all the extras when the party's over?

If you love favors, do favors! We're all for it!

Just pick something your guests will genuinely want to take with them. A treat they'll actually eat, a keepsake they'll actually use, a little something that feels like you.
