Everyone knows the saying “everything happens for a reason”. But have you ever had those moments in your life where things fall into place in a way that makes you truly believe it?
This past weekend, I had the honor of marrying a dear friend of mine. When Airelle approached me about possibly marrying her and John, the man who had become such an incredible part of her life, my weekend was already fully booked. While it absolutely should NOT have worked, she managed to find the one pocket of time where we could make it happen. And with the locations not too far apart, it felt exactly as if it was meant to be all along.
Arielle has always been one of those people who makes me believe that some souls are simply more connected to the universe than others. She’s an old soul, with an understanding of people and the world around her that I’ve always found incredibly special. Being in her presence feels like sunshine. She has a warmth and kindness about her that I always knew would take a pretty extraordinary person to match. And then John entered the chat. Everything about the two of them just made perfect sense.
To have known Arielle for so many years, to see the love she and John have found in one another, and then to be the person who got to stand beside them as they became husband and wife was a privilege I’ll never forget. Some weddings mean a little extra to your heart, and this was certainly one of them. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Rose! I’m so grateful I got to play a small part in your beautiful story and capture a few little moments from a day that meant so much.
