I want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single one of those who came out this past Saturday, supported our event, and helped make it so enjoyable. Your presence and support truly meant a lot, and I appreciate each and every one of you that contributed—whether it was through your time, effort, or just showing up.
I'd absolutely love to take this time to thank our wonderful sponsors for supporting this event and the cause. Great sponsors support great events. That only adds excitement for those that love to complain that "there's never anything to do here"
That said, I also want to be honest. As honest as I can truly be. I've really just sat on and studied over all of this and my thoughts the last few hours and here's where it's gotten me. Over the years, I’ve given a lot of myself—supporting local teams, helping a friend or friends in need, and putting my resources into events that I felt truly matter. It’s been a labor of love, but I’ve reached a point where I really do need to step back and focus on my own well-being and priorities. Stressing myself over an event I'm doing for someone else just isn't worth the health risks that come along with it.
To those who saw the effort and appreciated it—thank you from the bottom of my heart. You and I both know who you are.
To those who only show up when they need something or don’t reciprocate, I kindly ask that we part ways on that front. I’ve done my part, and I’m choosing to spend my time and energy more selectively from now on.
Thanks again to everyone who supported us, and to those who couldn’t make it—no hard feelings. Wishing you all the best.
Sincerely,
-Jimmy, Flipper, or whatever else it is you call me...
