Little Bird Event Space is a modern, industrial venue with 2,000 square feet that can be completely customized for you. With 16’ ceilings, custom white oak farm tables, polished concrete floors, garage door and warm Edison bulb lighting, we are happy to host your next family party, company cocktail reception or intimate wedding in this unique setting. This isn’t a typical event space. At Little Bird, we take full ownership of the entire process – from food preparation through décor – in order to create a unique, stylish experience for you and your guests.
Angela Marenghi, the founder of Little Bird Events is a dyed-in-the-wool event professional whose passion is deeply rooted in nearly two decades of work within hospitality and event management. She gained her experience at the James Beard-awarded Oleana Restaurant in Cambridge as the events and marketing manager and most recently managing staff and events for The Henry Organization. There is hardly anything Angela has not planned – from outdoor garden weddings, through intimate family parties, to informal cooking classes. When she is not working or taking care of her family, Angela enjoys reading about self-growth, design and cooking. Above all else, she loves a good party, especially when there is dancing.
When Angela tried to find a simple, but stylish venue for a family celebration outside of her home, she realized that there really wasn’t a lot to choose from. As a skilled events and hospitality professional she saw an opportunity to fill that need. With plenty of help and encouragement from her husband, in 2017 she leased and designed the space at 83 Morse Street. Of course, Angela wanted to create more than just a space with four walls. At Little Bird Event Space she hopes people will think of it as an extension of their home where you can relax and enjoy your time spent with your loved ones, co-workers and friends.
