Emma + Ryan’s wedding at The Salem Herbfarm felt like stepping into the pages of the sweetest, most joy-filled story.
They chose to skip a first look and see each other for the very first time walking down the aisle, and it was every bit as emotional and beautiful as you’d imagine. The way Emma’s face softened when she saw Ryan, the way his shoulders dropped in relief and happiness.
After their ceremony in the garden, they slipped away for private vows, just the two of them, in the bridal suite. No audience. No pressure. Just their promises, spoken quietly and honestly.
And then, because every great love story deserves a little whimsy, they brought in a magician for cocktail hour. Guests standing in little clusters around the patio, gasping and laughing as cards appeared and disappeared. It was such a fun, unexpected way to keep everyone entertained while we snuck off for portraits around the gardens in the golden sunset light!
As the sun dipped lower, the dance floor filled instantly the kind of reception where shoes quickly disappear. There was so much twirling, singing, and those deep-belly laughs that make your cheeks hurt by the end of the night.
