How fast is too fast in a new relationship? This week’s Love Line question came from a man who wanted to know what a healthy pace looks like when you’re actually looking for something long-term.

My answer... is to ❤️ move at the speed of trust, not the speed of chemistry. Chemistry can happen instantly, but trust takes time. People often find themselves “fibbing”, or filling in the blanks about someone before they’ve actually gathered enough information about who they are in real life.

You’re not trying to become someone’s whole life in the first two weeks! ARE YOU?!

You’re trying to determine whether they deserve a place in your life at all. So, take your time, and let time reveal.

Thank you to Christine & Salt and 96.5 TIC for having me on The Love Line every week. 🎙️ And now I’m curious:

What’s the fastest you’ve ever fallen for someone?

❤️ I knew immediately

❤️ Took a few weeks

❤️ Took a few months

❤️ Still waiting for it to happen

Most people internally feel far younger than the number attached to them. The disconnect happens when someone still identifies with who they were at 45… but refuses to emotionally or socially engage with the people actually in their current chapter of life.

The truth is, there are SO many vibrant, attractive, emotionally available singles in their 60s, 70s, and even 80s. I’ve placed couples in their 80s. Real love stories. Real companionship and chemistry. 🔥

But the places you meet them often change.

It’s less about sitting on dating apps endlessly swiping… and more about curated spaces, community, classes, golf courses apparently 😂, hobbies, matchmaking, travel groups, shared experiences, and environments where people are still actively participating in life.

That energy is attractive at every age.

Thank you to 96.5 TIC, Christine, and Salt for having me on Love Line every week 🎙️

You can be deeply attracted to someone and still not be aligned in the life you actually want to build.

This week on Love Line, we talked about a man in his 20s who is only attracted to women in their 40s and 50s… while also wanting five children.

And I think what he’s actually attracted to is confidence. Emotional maturity. Grounded feminine energy. Self-awareness. Calmness. Presence.

But attraction alone doesn’t create lifestyle compatibility.

This is why I always tell my matchmaking clients: it’s less about age… and more about stage of life. Long-term relationships are not built on chemistry alone. They’re built on shared vision, timing, goals, lifestyle, values, energy, capacity, and wanting the same future.

Thank you to Christine & Salt and the team at 96.5 TIC for having me on Love Line every week 🎙️

Day one at the Global Love Conference was an incredible reminder of how multidisciplinary modern matchmaking and relationship work has become.

Today’s sessions covered everything from behavioral science and emotional vulnerability to relationship psychology, divorce trends, intimacy research and networking dynamics.

Grateful to gain insights from brilliant minds and industry leaders including Lisa Clampitt, Leslie John, Evan Schein, Justin Garcia, Aleeza Ben Shalom, and Lori Gottlieb.

The best client outcomes happen when matchmaking is approached not just as introductions, but through a deeper understanding of communication, compatibility, attachment, lifestyle alignment, and human behavior.

Always grateful to continue learning, collaborating, and bringing those insights back to my clients at Jillin' It.

I’m always exploring ways to deepen self-awareness and GROW, not just as it relates to relationship but also intellectually and on a mind, body, and SOUL level.

This weekend I experienced family constellation therapy… (has nothing to do with the star constellations) with these incredible HORSES as the “representatives.” I KNOW, I KNOW, It might sound a little woo woo or unconventional, but it was incredibly powerful.

Growth doesn’t always come from where you expect it. What a beautiful experience. I’m so grateful.

What’s something you do that E X P A N D S you? I want to hear about it. 👇🏻

Some crushes feel intense because they’re never tested by reality… and that’s exactly why they’re dangerous. When someone is unavailable (especially emotionally or literally) it creates the perfect environment to project everything you want onto them.

So if you’re trying to get over a crush like this:

• Remove proximity. Not “limit.” Not “be strong.” Remove it. No more happy hours, no casual run-ins. Attraction needs access to survive.

• Interrupt the fantasy loop. Every time your brain says, “he’s perfect,” you answer back: “I don’t actually know him. I know a version of him.”

• Tell yourself the truth daily. He is not available. And if he were the kind of man to cross that line… he’s not the man you would want anyway.

• Redirect the desire. Usually, it’s not about him, it’s about what he represents. Go find that in someone who is actually available to give it to you.

• Raise your standard. You don’t need a secret connection. You need a real one. The right person for you won’t live in your imagination. They’ll exist in your real life, and you won’t have to betray yourself (or anyone else) to be with them.

If you have a question you want unpacked on air, drop it below or submit it privately. We’re answering them every week. 🎙️ And I’m curious… Do you think emotional attraction like this is harmless, or does it already cross a line?
