Business Update:
Hey everyone. Kaely here. As many of you know, Blake and I will be expecting baby number 3 in September. We are extremely excited and so thankful we get to be parents to another baby girl. We are about to enter an extremely busy season of our lives learning how to navigate life with a newborn, 2 kids involved in different activities, full time jobs, and other business adventures.
With that said, I have prayed and cried and prayed and tried to think about different directions to go with my business. At this stage of life, I feel like the best thing to do for my family and myself is to take a step back from this business.
This has honestly been the hardest decision I have ever had to make because I LOVE what I do. If I’m being transparent, I’ve always had a hard time trying to balance home life and work life. I guess many people owning small businesses feel that way. But it’s time to take the mental and physical energy I am putting into this business and give it back to my family.
Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of the customers over the past 4 1/2 years who have joined us during pop-up shops, weddings, events, holidays, and so much more. Thank you to my mother in law, Misty , who has helped me in the shop for the past year- she is a huge part of the success we have had. When I say “we” I usually mean me and her lol. We have met so many amazing and joyful people during our time at Lovely Lucy’s. The hardest part will definitely be not seeing you all anymore!
I’m not sure what the future will look like for Lovely Lucy’s. We may continue to do pop up events during major holidays, small prom orders, and things like that…but nothing is set in stone as of right now.
Our last day in the shop will be August 31st. Beginning today, all merch and dried flowers will be 20% off. Definitely a great time to stock up on greeting cards, candles, lip balms, and soaps 😍 We love you all and our community so much and will continue to support our little city as much as we can ❤️
