Four artists join fall jazz in The Soraya’s 2026-27 Season! 🎷

Announced today are Varijashree Venugopal, Jeff Parker, Paul Bryan, and Scott Amendola. Venugopal joins Snarky Puppy on Sat, Oct 3 and Jeff Parker, Paul Bryan, and Scott Amendola join The Bad Plus on Thu, Dec 3 as the special guest trio to open the concert.

We’re kicking off a new academic year with a look back at last Friday’s President’s Welcome Address, celebrating the start of another year at CSUN.

The Soraya’s Executive & Artistic Director, Chad Hilligus, had the pleasure of connecting with CSUN President Erika D. Beck, Associated Students President Hermoni Douglas, Vice President Sheen Gupta, KCSN 88.5 SoCal Sound’s General Manager Patrick Osburn, and members of the CSUN community.

A new chapter is about to begin for the LA Phil 🎼

After 17 years as Music & Artistic Director, Gustavo Dudamel is preparing for his final concert with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Los Angeles this Sunday, August 23.

A Concert for Venezuela at the Hollywood Bowl will mark the end of an extraordinary chapter and a celebration of music, community and Dudamel’s connection to his home country. The concert will also stream live on YouTube for audiences around the world to enjoy.

And LA Phil won’t be far from home. ❤️

The orchestra returns to our stage on March 26, 2027, as part of our LA Seen series, with conductor Domingo Hindoyan and soprano Sonya Yoncheva.

From one Los Angeles stage to another, we can’t wait to welcome them.

🎉 Happy Birthday to Andy Warhol.

In the fall of 2024, our Art Gallery welcomed 'People Watching: A Look Through the Lens of Andy Warhol', an exhibition featuring the artist's intimate Polaroids and black-and-white photographs captured between 1974 and 1986.

Rather than documenting celebrity alone, Warhol's camera found beauty in quiet moments: shared laughter, thoughtful expressions, and everyday human connection. Through his lens, ordinary moments became lasting works of art.
